Nuko Information Systems Inc, San Jose developer of texchnology for video network applications, reports that it has raised $5m in venture capital from an unidentified San Francisco venture capital firm. No plans were given for the cash. Nuko’s Highlander video coder-decoder transmission system is designed to enable telecommunications and cable television firms to offer commercial video services.
