Wireless Telecom Inc, based in Aurora, Colorado, reckons it is the first company dedicated to providing a specialised sales channel for the wireless data market, has raised $6m in venture capital, with Primus Venture Partners of Cleveland and Colorado Venture Management the newest investors, joining The Centennial Funds of Denver and Austin Ventures of Austin, Texas, which both contributed to the company’s December 1994 round. The cash will enable Wireless Telecom to continue to reinforce its position as the leading supplier (US companies even if they have just filed bankruptcy papers, still describe themselves as the or a leading whatever) of mobile data network products and services to resellers and business partners. The additional funds will be used to support the company’s growth through the early stages of market development.
