Sanders Prototype Inc, Wilton, New Hampshire maker of personal computer-based three-dimensional model making systems, has raised $1.8m in equity financing, including an initial $1m from Baxter Healthcare Corp. The New Hampshire Capital Consortium has also invested $450,000 in Sanders through Zero Stage Capital of Boston with an additional $500,000 by June 30. Venture Capital of New England put up $250,000 with an additional $500,000 by June 30. Sanders will use the capital for future expansion. Baxter Healthcare, a subsidiary of health-care products manufacturer Baxter International Inc, says Sanders three-dimensional modeling systems have potential for health care and medical applications.
Worldtalk Corp, Los Gatos electronic messaging integration and global directory products specialist, has won $3.75m from Venrock Associates, Bessemer Venture Partners, Sigma Partners, Prairie Capital Partners and Apex Investment Partners.
