Xerox Corp’s San Jose, California-basd Ventura Software Inc is shipping Ventura Publisher 4.0, Windows Edition: it is the latest upgrade to the desktop publishing package, Ventura Publisher, and it now includes client support for Object Linking and Embedding of Windows 3.0 applications; it has enhanced colour support, including Pantone Inc’s 700 spot colour and 3,000 process colour palettes; other new features include a spelling checker, undo/redo, search and replace for text, attributes and tags; Ventura Publisher 4.0, Windows Edition is available now for $800, and registered users of any previous Ventura Publisher DOS/GEM or Windows Edition can upgrade for $130.
