Enterprise IP video provider VBrick Systems has acquired the assets of Fliqz Media, a provider of video offerings that enable websites, blogs and social platforms to offer video while maximising a website’s search engine rankings.

Through this acquisition, VBrick Systems will get Fliqz’s customised and deployed offerings that will be integrated with VBrick’s VBoss, an online streaming service, to provide a one-stop shop for organisations to implement their live and on-demand video strategies.

VBrick said the acquisition adds a rich roster of customers including Major League Baseball, Rackspace, WebMD, and T-Mobile to its installed base of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based customers.

In addition, Fliqz platform provides a module specifically focused on video submission to search engines to maximise search engine optimisation (SEO), and it provides value to enterprises who may have already experimented with other on-demand video services in the past.

VBrick Systems chief executive officer Doug Howard said the company has taken the next important step in ensuring their 9,000-plus customers can continue to turn to them to implement rich media into nearly every conceivable inbound and outbound communication, including online sales and marketing videos, executive broadcasts, webinars, employee training, and myriad other applications.
