A development of Vasco’s Digipass 300 Comfort, the new product, Digipass 300 Comfort Voice, combines speech with extra-large buttons and LCD-display to make it easier for the visually impaired to conduct secure financial transactions.
Vasco says the calcultated codes are read to the user through a built-in speaker or via a headset. The number 5-button of Digipass 300 Comfort Voice will have orientation marks, allowing the user to select the right functionality and to type their pin-code into the Digipass. Every key pressed by the user will be followed by an acoustic feedback.
Furthermore, languages supported by the product are customizable, providing end-users with a Digipass that speaks their mother tongue.
Jan Valcke, Vasco’s president and COO said, Blind and visually impaired people very often manage their own financials. With Digipass 300 Comfort Voice, they can securely perform transactions and check their balances.
