Help desk customer service software house Vantive Corp has formed a partnership with Marimba Inc designed to help companies distribute and update software applications within their own networks and across the internet. They are working together to integrate Vantive Enterprise front office software with Marimba’s Castanet. The idea, says Vantive, is to help businesses insure that the right customer information goes to the right person, whether on a local area network, an extranet or the internet. Marimba’s Castanet UpdateNow software will ensure that users have the latest version of software and will help companies cut costs by simplifying and controlling the management of applications.
