The US General Services Administration has completed its deliberations over recasting the $5,000m plus 10-year FTS2000 government telecommunications network contract, which was to have been awarded in September but was pulled when the number of contenders dropped to two. It will now split it 60:40 between two teams, with rebids after the fourth and seventh year, the loser getting the 40%; bids must be in by March.
