US TEACHING UNIVERSITIES TO EVALUATE INSTRUCTIONAL SOFTWARE

Four leading US teaching universities are to evaluate instructional software as part of a joint effort with IBM to help improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching through the use of technology: the four are Hampton University, Virginia, Morgan State, Baltimore, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State, Greensboro, and Xavier University, New Orleans and IBM will distribute some 250 PS/2s and other kit worth $1m in total to the four.
