US SOFTWARE OFFERS GO-FASTER REAL-TIME SOFTWARE

Real-time embedded systems software company US Software of Portland, Oregon has introduced its GoFast line of floating point application accelerators. Building on its expertise developed along with the MultiTask! line, this new product line is designed to assist real-time software engineers in creating ROMable, re-entrant code for embedded system designs. Featuring link-and-go solutions for iAPX-86 C compilers to speed product development, the product also offers GoFast source code libraries to provide product development engineers with a greater degree of design control and flexibility. GoFast accelerators support Microsoft, Borland, Intel, Watcom and MetaWare compilers. The acclerators feature the DynaCop dynamic replacement for 80X87 co-processors, as well as optimized floating point libraries for 8051, 8096/196, 8086, 80386, i960, 6801, 6301, 6809, 68HC11, 68xxx, 8085, Z80/64180 and other microprocessors.
