Pyramid Technology duly launched the new 9000 Series models in the US on Monday (CI No 674): the high-end 9830, rated at 19 MIPS, and the 9840, rated at 25 MIPS, have entry-prices of $424,000 and $514,000 respectively; the low-end 3.5 MIPS 9805 goes for $129,000; all will be available within three months.
