US PC SOFTWARE SALES TO GROW 40% THIS YEAR

The US Software Publishers Association looks for US personal computer software sales to grow 40% this year, against 25% for the computers themselves: it would be the first time that software sales had grown much faster than the hardware; last year, each showed about 20% growth.
