US GENERAL ADMINISTRATION FREEZES COMPUTER PROCUREMENTS

Makes sense: the US General Services Administration has frozen most government telecommunications and communications-related computer procurements for two months to make sure that the projects won’t duplicate services to be provided by the giant FTS2000 government network.
