By CBR Staff Writer

Following last week’s improved results, Intelligent Environment Plc, the Sunbury-on-Thames, UK web-to-mainframe access company, told Computerwire that they plan an October release of a new version of its Amazon product that links mainframes to web sites. The said that the product is in beta-testing at five sites. This release should coincide with details about the revenue generating projects that IE is working on British Telecommunications Plc, Tim Cooke, IE chief executive said. Cooke also said that he is confident that the company’s two-year business plans to refocus the business on internet products is still on course, but there are no plans for a Nasdaq listing. The April release of ScreenSurfer has generated twelve $35,000-plus orders with a number of others at the pilot stage.
