Northern Telecom Inc reports that Universal Communications Systems, shortly to change its name to BellSouth Communication Systems, is an authorised distributor of Northern Telecom’s Meridian SL-1 PABX and Meridian terminal products and will handle them US-wide with the exception of nine south-eastern statesthat comprise the operating areas of Southern and South Central Bell Southwestern’s home territory.
