UNITED TECHNOLOGIES SELLS STAKE IN TELEFUNKEN TO AEG

United Technologies Corp is divesting its 49% holding in Heilbronn, West Germany electronic components maker Telefunken Electronic GmbH to its partner in the venture, AEG AG: terms of the sale of the stake – in a company which has 6,000 employees, seven bases and $360m in annual sales, have not been disclosed.
