The contract has been won as part of the framework agreement awarded last year by the NHS re:source Procurement Hub for the East Midlands region.

Colin Evans, associate director of supplies at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, said: We chose Manpower Software for their strong proven customer track record in NHS Trusts across the UK and for the superior functionality and ease of use of Maps Healthroster. Key capabilities we considered of most importance to us which Maps Healthroster was able to deliver over the other vendors, included: its proven ESR integration which will help us reduce payroll admin and improve payroll accuracy and its proven integration with Bank. We look forward to working with the team at Manpower Software.

According to Manpower, the NHS Trust has selected Maps Healthroster because of its capability to offer more than simple electronic rostering to NHS Trusts. Expected benefits from the system include nurse rosters, patient safety, improved quality of life for nursing staff and accurate payroll records.

Paul Scandrett, director of healthcare at Manpower Software, said: We are delighted by this latest contract award. United Lincolnshire Hospitals is a Trust that provides services to a large geographical area and we look forward to helping the Trust achieve their goals. Our NHS client base now totals over 150 Trusts, 53 of which have chosen MAPS Healthroster.
