Unitech Wireless, a telecom services player, in which Norway’s Telenor is the majority partner, is close to complete business process outsourcing (BPO) contracts with two companies – Genpact and Intelenet Global Services, reported The Economic Times.

Unitech Wireless is planning to launch mobile services across different circles in India.

The company could sign contracts with Genpact for the North and with Intelenet for the South. Unitech is also in talks with the Aegis BPO for the East, reported The Economic times citing two people with knowledge of the deal.

Wipro has already bagged a long-term IT outsourcing contract from Unitech in May. Unitech’s new BPO contract is likely to commence with about 400 seats for the North and with similar number for the South, and over 100 seats for the East, reported The Economic Times.

Both Aegis and Intelenet Global Services already meet the BPO requirements of domestic telecom service providers.
