UNISYS WINS ORDER FOR A10F MAINFRAME FROM BRITISH TELECOM

Unisys Ltd has won a UKP2m order for an A10F mainframe from British Telecom in competition with IBM, ICL and DEC: the machine will be used for collection of data from the trunk switching network using X25 links to 64 major exchanges; the system will also include four Plessey 2550 regional concentrators.
