DTC, which is the London-based sales and marketing division of De Beers, will move to a virtualized server environment using Unisys ES7000/one Enterprise Servers. Unisys plans to have the transition to the new infrastructure done by August 2008.
Support for the new servers will be handled from a Unisys center in Bangalore. Project management functions will be delivered from Unisys sites in Hungary and the UK.
