UNISYS TO UPGRADE HERTZ’ RESERVATION AND AIRLINE DIRECT ACCESS SYSTEM

Unisys Corp has a $7.7m to upgrade car rental company Hertz’ worldwide reservation and airlines direct access system in Oklahoma City with another top-end 1100/94 mainframe. Sausalito, California based Autodesk Inc has launched AutoFlix, a software utility for animating two and three dimensional images produced by AutoCAD, AutoShade and AutoSketch: the animation program runs on MS-DOS microcomputers with an EGA display, sells for just $35 and is available immediately in the US.
