The Belgian government terminated a contract worth around 22m euros ($29m) due to delays and issues of quality, which Unisys disputes.
Unisys responded with a statement that said it was surprised by the decision to abort the Phoenix project and accused the Belgian government of unjustly damaging its reputation and ignoring many constructive proposals it had made to rectify the project.
