UNISYS SIGNS PARTNERSHIP FOR DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT

Unisys Corp has signed a seven year Partnership for Development Agreement with the Australian government, valued at over half a billion $Australian: under the terms of the agreement, Unisys will undertake export research and development activities in return for exemptions from other business offset requirements; Unisys has also embarked on the construction of a $4m Sydney based Pacific Asia Data Centre, to provide regional computing resources, customer education programmes and sundry other computer services.
