UNISYS HAS NOW SOLD 1000 OF THE 6000/50 MACHINES

Unisys Corp says it has now sold 1,000 of its new 6000/50 Convergent Technologies-sourced 80386 Unix+MS-DOS machines in the seven months since launch of the product: easily the biggest order in Europe has come from the Deutsche Bundespost, which is planning on taking some 500 of them by year-end.
