By CBR Staff Writer

Unisys Corp now says that in addition to its early retirement programme, about 1,700 jobs are being eliminated this week at more than 60 locations in the US under its earlier restructuring programme: another 400 people have been notified that their jobs will cease to exist later this year, and the reductions are in addition to other efforts to reduce employment; Unisys will also close a component assembly plant in Nogales, Mexico, which employs about 400 people.
