Unify Corp of Sacramento, California has launched Accell/CP for Windows 3.0, a set of applications developed with Unify’s Accell/SQL development toolkit to run on a Unix host, while the presentation layer runs on the personal computer under Windows 3.0: the client process is separated from the presentation environment and the client may run on the same host as the database server or it may run on its own Unix machine; Unify is offering Accell/CP for Windows as an alternative to ASCII terminals and Windows-based personal computer already in place can be used to access data, execute programs, transfer files and transmit reports; Accell/CP for Windows 3.0 is available now and the software is $220 per unit, while the host enabler ranges from $220 to $34,640.
