The Siebel Finance solution, running on the IBM Business Consulting Services platform, will allow UMB to create a single, personalized view of its customers across all of its channels, including local branches and online banking web sites. The project is expected to streamline the bank’s business processes, identify areas for improving customer experiences, and eliminate operational and system redundancies.

UMB selected the joint Siebel Finance/IBM offering for its functionality in the wealth management and retail banking environments.

UMB’s information technology staff is currently working with IBM consultants to refine business requirements, identify integration points with other business systems, and carry out the implementation.

The UMB project marks a total of 2,500 joint IBM and Siebel customer engagements since 1999, when the two companies entered into a formal alliance agreement.
