Now that it has the rights to SMI’s IBM 370-compatible implementation of the Pick operating system, Ultimate Corp needs the ultimate platform on which to run it – and reckons that in the 9370, IBM has come up with the goods. According to Computer Systems News, pens are poised over an OEM contract between IBM and the East Hanover, New Jersey Pick-popper for at least 3,000 9370s over four years. Ultimate already has 75 Pick-on-9370 orders.
