UK TRAVEL AGENT PLANS FOREIGN CURRENCY SALES OVER THE NET

UK travel agent Thomas Cook plans to start selling foreign exchange over the internet next month, according to the Financial Times. The agent will also become the first in the UK to sell holidays over the internet. Estimates suggest travel booked via the net could be worth some 1bn pounds by 2002.
