UK RETAILER WARNS OF SLOWING PC SALES IN EUROPE

UK electrical goods retailer Dixons Plc, which owns the PC World chain of superstores, is warning that sales in the European personal computer market are beginning to slow down. Last year, PC World made sales of 464m pounds, a 77% jump over the previous year, while the UK market as a whole, estimated to be worth around 5bn pounds, grew by around 13%.
