With help from 12Snap, a UK mobile marketing company, Kikass.com will send out an SMS multiple-choice questionnaire about the use of condoms to thousands of teenagers. If a recipient responds, they will be automatically entered into a prize draw for a DVD player, thus encouraging them to respond.

These answers will then be sorted, and according to the responses, further questions will be sent to the original responders about attitudes towards using condoms.

The charity is hoping that the questionnaires raise awareness about sexually transmitted infections among the teenagers, and is also hoping to gain a clearer picture about the sexual practices of teenagers regarding protection. Kikass believes that this kind of interaction could help facilitate dialogue from the participants and bring STI issues more out into the open.
