A group of the UK’s most eminent biographers are pushing the case for a multimedia National Biography center on a five-acre site at Egham, Surrey. The Biorama Real Lives Centre is designed to use the latest technology to tell the lives of people from William Shakespeare to Marilyn Monroe and the centerpiece will be a tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales. Organizers hope to get money from the National Lottery and aim to win support for the project from Prime Minister Tony Blair. Information on the project is on www.biography.org.uk.
