It’s the hottest property on the market in the UK with a total of 320 people fighting a battle to own it. Standing 54-metres high on a remote location in the Gog Magog Hills in Cambridgeshire, a communications mast has sent out all the right signals to potential investors. Leo Hickish of estate agents Strutt and Parkers, told the Financial Times: We have received interest from major telecommunications companies and commercial investment houses as well as private investors. We believe this mast is the first of its kind in the country to be sold. Handily for potential broadcasters, the mast had a building at its foot which can house any equipment, cabling is laid on and existing users are already paying a substantial rent towards its upkeep.
