CCI Holdings Plc, a UK shell company which makes clay pigeons, is to reinvent itself as a ERP software group with three acquisitions worth a total of up to 28.7m pounds in what amounts to a reverse take-over. Xavier Computer Systems Group Plc and KSE Computers are providers of ERP software and systems, and will be bought for 14.7m pounds and 11m pounds respectively. CSL Xenon Ltd, systems integration subsidiary of Xavier, will be bought for up to 3m pounds. CCI will sell its clay pigeon business, Clark Clay Industries Ltd, and soon as possible and change its name to XKO Group Plc. Xavier chief executive Brian Beverly will become CEO of the new group, which will focus on providing ERP systems to small UK enterprises.
