Ubiquisys, a UK-based manufacturer of 3G femtocells, and SerComm, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of broadband and wireless networking equipment, have launched FC210U integrated home gateway.

According to Ubiquisys, the new gateway incorporates 3G femtocell technology, together with WiFi and DSL, providing network operators with a single box to deliver quad-play services.

Ubiquisys has said that the FC210U is currently in mass production to support a forthcoming commercial deployment. In addition to providing quality 3G coverage and network capacity, the FC210U will also allow operators to deploy a range of new revenue generating applications and services to mobile handsets including; automatic audio and video downloads, social networking and multimedia streaming.
