TYMNET JOINS MARTIN MARIETTA CONSORTIUM

The Tymnet unit of McDonnell-Douglas Corp has joined Martin Marietta Corp’s consortium bidding for the $4,000m, 10-year FTS2000 contract to build and operate a new telecommunications network for agencies of the Federal government US-wide: other members of the team include Northern Telecom and the seven regional Bell operating companies.
