Tyler Technologies has signed an agreement to provide San Patricio County, Texas, with its financial management system. The contract includes software licenses, corresponding professional services, maintenance and support.
Under the agreement, San Patricio County will implement Tyler’s Incode financial management system. In addition to deploying a variety of Tyler’s financial and human resource applications, the county will enhance its reporting capabilities with Tyler GASB 34 Reporter.
Tyler claims that its GASB 34 Reporter will ease the posting of adjustments for San Patricio County as defined by Statement No 34 of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. With the assistance of a wizard-type interface, which includes embedded rules for the common entries, uncommon entries and an entry for internal service fund data, San Patricio County will expedite the reporting process.
David Wendel, San Patricio County auditor, said: Tyler’s ability to provide a financial management software solution that has the scalability to accommodate San Patricio County’s growing needs factored into our decision to choose Tyler’s system. Additionally, we appreciate Tyler’s GASB 34 Report Writer for its ability to facilitate and enhance reporting for the county.
