Siemens AG is now thought to have narrowed down the candidates interested in buying its UK-based Siemens-Plessey defense arm (CI No 3,193) to two candidates: Thomson CSF SA and a joint bid from Daimler Benz Aerospace and British Aerospace Plc. All should be revealed on September 30.
