The micro-blogging website intends to introduce a separate direct-messaging app, following in the foot-steps of Facebook, and mobile apps including WhatsApp, Line and WeChat, according to AllThingsD.
Reports also suggest that Twitter has been exploring the way Snapchat users engage with each other, hinting to a similar feature for its new messaging app.
