Anadolubank, an Istanbul-based bank, has deployed Juniper Networks’ application acceleration, routing and security technologies, to create a secure distributed enterprise network infrastructure for its headquarters and 77 branches. The deployment is expected to reduce total cost of ownership by 55% in annual capital expenditures, improve staff productivity and integrate infrastructure.

Juniper Networks has said that WXC Series provides the bank’s geographically distributed locations with a scalable approach, to accelerate the delivery of Web-based and Client server business applications and services over the WAN. In addition, the WXC platform delivers the required compression and acceleration through its active/active leased line and G.SHDSL network to deploy new services. Anadolubank also deployed the M Series Multiservice Edge Routers to enable IP WAN connectivity, Internet access and services for its head office and branches by consolidating multiple services onto a single IP/MPLS network.

Tunc Bergsan, vice president of IT Infrastructure, Anadolubank, said: Juniper’s application acceleration products enable us to expedite our key applications while a flexible, no compromise network security deployment helps us to ensure data security between our branches. Additionally, Juniper’s networking technology will help us to differentiate ourselves through innovation and product development while reducing our operational costs.

Gert-Jan Schenk, senior vice president of Operations, EMEA, Juniper Networks, said: Innovative, dynamic financial organizations such as Anadolubank rely on the quality of network-based services to build customer loyalty and continue rapid growth. Juniper’s high-performance networking technologies enable Anadolubank to maximize its value to customers while controlling costs.

Juniper Networks offers network infrastructure that creates a responsive environment for accelerating the deployment of services and applications over a single network.
