TUNISIA OPENS MARKET TO PRIVATE INTERNET AND TELECOMS FIRMS

Tunisia issued legislation opening the local market to private Internet and other telecommunications services suppliers: private companies can now set up Internet servers connected to the state’s telecommunications network and offer Internet service to local subscribers provided they vet accessed content.
