Tulip Computers NV, Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, is to start volume shipment of two new lines of computers in the next couple of weeks. The Generic PC line comes in 25MHz 80486SX, 33MHz and 50MHz 80486-processor options and can serve as stand-alone systems or file servers in small networks. The Facility range uses the same processors but is designed for use as terminals on a network. It includes four external ports and memory ranging up to 200Mb. The Generic range has six external interfaces and up to 400Mb. The 25MHz 80486SX machines cost $5,324 to $8,406, the 33MHz 80486 models $7,000 to $10,100. No price for 50MHz versions.
