TTP powers intermediate generation Chinese mobiles

TTP Communications Plc has signed a potentially lucrative contract to supply its 2.5G software stack to China's largest mobile handset manufacturer. The deal opens the way for Huizhou City, China-based TCL Mobile Communications Co Ltd to start to offer homegrown GPRS handsets.
