The attraction of Mobisys is that it has based its designs on TTPCom software and the Cambridge, UK-based company sees the acquisition as a way to increase its capacity to meet growing demand for terminal systems developments and provide local support for Asian customers.
A large variety of handset vendors in Asia has created the demand for Mobisys’ services and the company reported pre-tax income of KRW 659m ($520,000) on revenue of KRW 1.6bn ($2.2m).
