According to the report, approximately 72,000 Trojans were found during scans performed in April, about 17% of the total scans, up one percentage point on March.
The same report found 60,873 system monitors, defined as programs like keystroke loggers, which was about 14% of the scans performed, down one percentage point on March.
In total, about half a million Trojans and system monitors have been found since the start of the year. EarthLink also said it found about 2.3 million instances of adware, and another 8.8 million cookies related to adware sites.
