TRIUMPH-ADLER TO LOSE 20 OF WORKFORCE

Carlo de Benedetti has completed his review of Olivetti’s Triumph-Adler acquisition from Volkswagen, and come to the conclusion that with 9,000 employees, the Nuremburg company is 20% overmanned: lay-offs and attrition will reduce the workforce by that proportion this year.
