TDS is evolving to paperless processes and looking at ways to streamline our product development efforts, explained Mr Johnson. A centralized data repository and process automation through ProductCenter will streamline information access and reuse, improve data integrity, and reduce product development cycles to enhance our customer responsiveness.
Johnson also expects that ProductCenter SolidWorks Integrators will speed product development efforts at TDS by enabling comprehensive product lifecycle management capabilities to be directly accessible through the SolidWorks desktop: ProductCenter is expected to centralize, interrelate, and help TDS better manage all of our product related data, including SolidWorks files, subcontractor information, as well as corrective action reports for Quality Assurance, and even controlled accounting documents.
