According to the company, the new version of Trintech’s reconciliation and account balancing application includes improved security, usability enhancements, and supports a new archival module which will help customers further streamline reconciliation workflow so they can deploy resources to other areas critical to their business.

The ReconNET 7.5 includes support for current versions of Oracle and Microsoft databases, the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, and Crystal 2008. A new automated and configurable archive module is available and supported in the 7.5 release – allowing customers to save important historical data outside of the ReconNET production database, enabling maximum performance in the production environment, said Trintech.

The company claims that the ReconNET automates complex daily, monthly and periodic accounting processes, and is ideal for organizations with high-volume or complex transaction matching, exception identification, and operational risk management requirements. Additional security measures now provide customers even more control over ReconNET access rules such as character and case sensitivity. The inclusion of multi-layer sorting enables application users to save time and increase productivity, while improved navigation, pick list functionality, and the ability to delete transaction codes in bulk offers greater ease of use and control over the reconciliation process.

John Harte, executive vice president and general manager of Trintech, said: The increasing sophistication of ReconNET allows clients to explore new avenues for reconciliation process improvement. Our clients continue to creatively expand their use of ReconNET for a variety of transaction types. This latest release further increases the ability to effectively manage risk, improve operational efficiencies, and offers improved flexibility and system enhancements to benefit large enterprise users who process very high volumes of transactions daily.
