Claiming considerable price and footprint advantages over similar offerings from Inmos (CI No 847), High Wycombe-based Transtech Dev-ices Ltd has announced a range of Inmos-based 20MHz Transputer modules and boards for IBM compatibles, PS/2s and Apple Macs: all 18 Tram modules are upgradable to T800 floating point Transputers and range in price from UKP500 to UKP4,000; the company also offers a double height Eurocard motherboard with slots for a maximum of 20 Trams.
