TRANSPORT SAFETY BOARD SUGGESTS “BLACK-BOXES” FOR CARS

The US National Transportation Safety Board has suggested the implementation of a black box- type information recorder to be installed in all new cars. The boxes would act like the black box flight recorders on aeroplanes and data collected would be used in an attempt to reduce the serious injuries sustained in road accidents.
